Salary Range: £30,464 (Plus Commission)
Location: Chiswick, London - Hybrid 2 days per week in office

The Role
Reporting to our Solar & Storage Sales Manager 👋 we’re looking for a Solar Sales Advisor to join the team.
Our installation services for Solar panels, batteries, and EV charge points are helping homeowners save money while doing their bit in the fight against climate change. As a Solar Sales Advisor, your role will be to help grow our customer base and guide homeowners toward becoming energy independent. You will be responsible for helping customers seamlessly transition from interest to agreeing to a solar installation. This is a dynamic, fast-paced sales role backed by a steady stream of high-quality, inbound leads and returning customers. Meaning absolutely no cold calling. Through high-quality audio and video calls, you will design custom solar arrays, present tailored quotes, and expertly guide customers through their purchasing decision. What you’ll be getting up to in this role:
- Guide customers through all aspects of their initial solar journey from first contact to successfully agreeing to a solar installation by us.
- Complete pre-booked audio and video calls with prospective customers to understand their energy needs.
- Design appropriate solar arrays and produce, present, and discuss accurate customer quotes. Maintain high conversion rates by utilising excellent negotiation skills and an energetic approach to finalising sales.
- Actively identify opportunities to upsell extras, such as battery storage and EV charge points, to provide a complete energy solution.
- Manage the customer journey via our CRM, acting as the main point of contact for any questions regarding quotes and ensuring an exceptional experience.
- Remain unphased when speaking to customers, confidently problem-solving and overcoming objections to secure the sale.
About You:
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to help bring in new business.
- You possess a strong belief in providing excellent customer service, championing the customer journey, and taking ownership of complaints to deliver a positive outcome.
- You are a strong team player who ensures consistency across the business, while remaining flexible, reliable, and reactive to department demands.
- You have a strong drive for process improvement, a willingness to take the initiative, and a desire to be upskilled to a high standard across all tasks.
You’re a great match if:
- Previous sales experience is required, with a track record of meeting performance targets.
- Prior experience within the UK residential solar and energy storage market is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong multi-channel contact handling abilities.
- Proven ability to prioritise your workload and adapt quickly to changing customer and business requirements.
- Comfortable working with customers who require a more bespoke service and able to overcome challenges in service delivery.
- A genuine passion to change the way we use energy, helping people make the shift away from fossil fuels towards cleaner energy.
