OXBO are partnered with a leading UK IPP who are looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility-scale BESS and Solar PV projects across the UK.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established and fast-growing business with a strong and growing UK pipeline. You will manage projects from RTB through to O&M handover. Reporting directly into the Head of Construction.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the delivery of utility-scale BESS and Solar PV projects from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Manage project scope, programme, budget and quality.
  • Coordinate EPC contractors, consultants, OEMs and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee grid connection activities, including DNO/TSO interfaces, G99/G100 compliance, SCADA integration and energisation.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with UK HSE and CDM regulations.
  • Identify and manage project risks while driving programme performance.
  • Support project reporting, commercial management and successful handover into operations.

  • 5+ years construction experience in the renewable energy / energy infrastructure industry.
  • Including 3+ years Project Manager experience.
  • Strong understanding of UK construction practices and project management.
  • Experience managing EPC contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Knowledge of grid connections, DNO/TSO processes and commissioning activities.
  • Familiarity with CDM Regulations and UK Health & Safety requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline (Electrical Engineering degree preferred).
