A leading South East law firm is looking to appoint a Family Solicitor (0–3 PQE) to join its highly regarded Family team in Guildford. Role Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified to 3 PQE Family Solicitor looking to join a market-leading team handling high-quality privately funded work. You'll manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision while working closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers on more complex matters. The role offers exposure to a broad range of family law work, excellent mentoring and genuine long-term career progression within a growing and supportive practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
- Advise clients on divorce, separation and relationship breakdown.
- Handle financial remedy matters, including high-value and complex financial disputes.
- Advise on private children matters, including Child Arrangements Orders and parental responsibility issues.
- Draft and advise on pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.
- Assist with claims involving unmarried couples, including TOLATA and Schedule 1 Children Act applications.
- Advise clients on domestic abuse matters, including non-molestation and occupation orders.
- Support senior lawyers on complex and high-net-worth family matters where appropriate.
- Promote and support alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and negotiated settlements.
- Build strong client relationships while delivering an exceptional standard of client care.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and help strengthen the team's profile across the region.

Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with 0–3 years PQE in Family Law.
- Experience of privately funded family law matters gained during training or post-qualification.
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of family law issues.
- Excellent communication, drafting and client relationship skills.
- Compassionate, personable and committed to delivering outstanding client service.
- Organised with strong attention to detail and effective file management skills.
- Commercial awareness and a genuine desire to develop a long-term career in family law.
- Collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working within a high-performing team.
