Slater and Gordon is one of the UK’s leading consumer law firms, renowned for acting for individuals and families in some of the most complex and sensitive clinical negligence cases.

Due to continued growth, the team is looking to recruit a motivated solicitor to handle a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters and support senior colleagues on complex cases.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, providing exposure to high-quality work and excellent opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, instructions to experts, and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients, medical experts, counsel, and other third parties
  • Maintaining high levels of client care and delivering an empathetic, client-focused service
  • Progressing cases efficiently and in line with regulatory and procedural requirements

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in clinical negligence and/or personal injury litigation
  • Strong communication, organisational, and case management skills
  • A genuine interest in claimant clinical negligence work
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and handle sensitive matters with empathy
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and committed to ongoing professional development
