About the Firm
Our client is an established UK law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to both individuals and businesses. Their teams specialise in consumer litigation and financial disputes, helping clients pursue claims relating to financial products and instances of mis-selling.
The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Financial Mis-Selling Solicitor to join their growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Solicitor with experience in financial disputes to play a key role in a developing department.
The successful candidate will have experience handling financial mis-selling matters, such as PCP finance claims, investment mis-selling, PPI, omnibus claims, or other complex consumer finance disputes. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload while contributing to the development of the wider team.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of financial mis-selling matters from initial instruction through to settlement or final hearing.
- Assess complex financial documentation and provide practical, commercially focused legal advice.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including pre-action correspondence, statements of case, witness statements, and other court documentation.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, financial institutions, barristers, experts, and other relevant parties.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients at hearings, mediations, or other dispute resolution processes where required.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements, professional standards, and internal compliance procedures.

About You
- Newly qualified solicitor (0 - 2 years PQE) with experience in financial mis-selling, consumer litigation, professional negligence, or other complex civil litigation.
- Sound understanding of financial products, FCA regulations, and the legal principles surrounding financial mis-selling claims.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently while maintaining a high standard of client service.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- Confident communicator with a professional and client-focused approach.
- Experience using legal case management systems, such as Proclaim or similar platforms.
