About the Role
Closing date: 13th July Interview process: Virtual interview (TEAMS) followed by a Face-to-Face meeting at our Burton Latimer site.
Working pattern: Three days a week in the office. This allows you to collaborate, build strong relationships, and drive high-impact work—while maintaining flexibility outside the office.

We’re expanding our team and are hiring a NQ – 3 PQE Solicitor with experience in commercial, data protection, and/or intellectual property law to join our dynamic legal team.
The Recipe: Core Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documentation to enable compliant commercial activity.
- Provide clear, practical legal research and recommendations to support confidence-driven business decisions.
- Manage day-to-day legal queries, delivering rapid, reliable support with timely escalation where needed.
- Collaborate across Sales, Commercial, Procurement, and IT to align legal processes with business needs.
- Maintain and improve legal templates, guidance, and knowledge resources for consistency and efficiency.
- Support compliance in data protection, commercial law, and intellectual property requirements.
- Enhance contract lifecycle management with modern, digital tools and automation.
- Improve legal service delivery by exploring digital tools, AI, and automation.
- Boost legal awareness across the business through training and accessible materials.

The Ingredients: Key Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident stakeholder engagement with a practical, solution-focused approach.
- Ability to interpret and simplify legal complexities (contracts, case law, regulations).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Industry-specific FMCG knowledge (supply chains, digital commerce, consumer law).
- Experience with complex advisory work, including cross-border legal matters.
