Family Solicitor (NQ–5 PQE)

A highly regarded boutique Family Law practice is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor (NQ–5 PQE) to join its award-winning team. Role Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified to 5 PQE Family Solicitor to join a specialist practice exclusively dedicated to privately funded family law. Working alongside highly respected senior lawyers, you'll gain exposure to complex, high-value matters while developing your own caseload and technical expertise.

The role would suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively, values exceptional client service and is looking to establish a long-term career within one of the region's leading specialist Family Law teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters with appropriate supervision.
  • Advise clients on divorce, separation and relationship breakdown.
  • Assist with complex financial remedy proceedings, including high-net-worth financial disputes.
  • Advise on private children matters, including Child Arrangements Orders and parental responsibility issues.
  • Draft and advise on pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.
  • Handle matters involving civil partnership dissolution and cohabitation disputes.
  • Support clients through mediation, collaborative law and other forms of alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
  • Work alongside senior lawyers on complex and high-value cases involving local, national and international clients.
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional client care and pragmatic legal advice.
  • Contribute to the continued success and profile of the team.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with NQ–5 years PQE in Family Law.
  • Experience of privately funded family law matters gained during training or post-qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of family law matters.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and sound judgement.
  • A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working as part of a specialist team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional client care.
