Solicitor – Hybrid Role (London)

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid solicitor role based in London, with flexibility to work remotely part-time.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload, providing clear legal advice and representing clients in negotiations, courts, and tribunals where necessary.
  • Client-facing tasks including meetings, legal issue assessments, and progress updates.
  • Document preparation—drafting, reviewing contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and firm standards while progressing matters efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases, contributing to high-quality legal outcomes.
  • Case and billing management—ensure accurate file records and up-to-date client invoicing.
  • Engage in business development through client relationship management and local networking.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Legal qualification: Must hold a solicitor’s qualification (England & Wales).
  • Desired expertise:
    • Conveyancing: Experience in residential and commercial property transactions, including contracts and related documentation.
    • Employment Law: Advising on workplace rights, disputes, and compliance.
    • Commercial Real Estate: Familiarity with leasing agreements, acquisitions, disposals, and commercial property compliance.
    • Family Law (preferred): Experience with divorce, financial remedies, and child arrangements.
  • Skills & attributes:
    • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills with un equalling attention to detail.
    • Excellent client communication, explaining complex issues clearly and confidently.
    • Adept at task prioritisation, managing multiple caseloads, and working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Tools & technology: Proficient with legal case management systems and standard office software; open to adopting new tools.
