Family Solicitor | Associate Level (4+ Years' PQE)

An established family law practice in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor at associate level to take on a pivotal role within its team. This is a great opportunity for a Scottish-qualified Solicitor with a solid family law background who is looking for greater responsibility.
Sitting between senior leadership and junior fee earners, you'll play a central role in the day-to-day delivery of the department while contributing to its longer-term development.

The role
Based in central Glasgow, you'll manage a broad range of private family law matters with a high degree of autonomy, acting as a point of reference for junior members of the team.
The caseload will include a variety of family law work including divorce, financial settlements, child law matters and related proceedings. Regular client contact is a key feature of this role, requiring a pragmatic and empathetic approach when guiding clients through sensitive and often complex circumstances.
About you
This role would suit a Family Solicitor who:
- Holds a minimum of 4 years' PQE in family law
- Has substantive, hands-on experience across a range of family matters
- Is confident managing their own caseload independently
- Enjoys mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
- Is organised, client-focused and commercially aware
