Junior Solicitor
A leading organisation in the energy infrastructure sector is looking for a high-calibre junior Solicitor to join their in-house Legal team, supporting a wide range of commercial activities across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee due to qualify or a recently qualified lawyer trained in private practice who is keen to develop in a dynamic, commercially focused environment. This is a hybrid role where you can enjoy working from home 3 days each week.
The Role
Reporting to a Senior Solicitor, you will provide pragmatic, high-quality legal support across the business, advising on both day-to-day matters and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements (including supplier terms, service agreements, NDAs, and framework agreements)
- Prepare supporting legal documentation such as letters, consents, and resolutions
- Assist on strategic business projects and initiatives
- Support corporate transactions, restructurings, and joint ventures
- Provide legal input on financing arrangements (including lending and security documentation)
- Deliver practical, business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders

This role is hybrid – work from home 3 days per week and collaborate in the office 2 days per week.
About You
You must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- A NQ to 1 PQE Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), or
- Due to qualify in September 2026
You must also:
- Have recently completed a seat in Commercial to be considered for this position
- Be trained in private practice within a reputable law firm
- Have experience drafting and advising on commercial agreements
- Have exposure to transactions, deals, or structured commercial arrangements
- Demonstrate strong legal drafting and analytical skills
- Be able to manage workloads effectively with excellent prioritisation
- Exhibit strong communication skills, able to explain legal concepts to non-legal audiences
- Be resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
