About HSF Kramer Digital Finance
The Digital Finance team merges legal expertise with cutting-edge process automation to offer cost-effective, high-quality managed services in financing transactions. It collaborates closely with the traditional Finance teams, delivering tailored solutions while leveraging the firm’s global network.
The Role: Digital Finance Advisor (Belfast)
The successful candidate will join an ambitious, growing law firm team in Belfast, supporting global banking & finance transactions while building client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transactional Support:
- Assist in financing deals, including conducting company searches, drafting corporate authorisations, security documents, and transactional packages.
- Manage conditions precedent and execute close-out documentation.
- Outsourcing & Mandate Project Delivery:
- Oversee negotiations for banking bilateral documents, trade finance arrangements, NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements), or release letters on behalf of clients.
- Work as an extension of in-house legal teams.
- Collaborative Legal Support:
- Liaise with other HSF Kramer practice groups globally to deliver seamless client service.
- Supervise Trainees or Legal Analysts on complex matters, under senior guidance.
- Knowledge & Compliance:
- Maintain up-to-date legal knowledge in finance-related areas.
- Ensure timely compliance with billing/contractual obligations (e.g., timesheets).
- Client Relations & Business Development:
- Foster strong business relationships with key clients.
- Flexible Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel, e.g., to the London office, may be required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or Northern Ireland (Republic of Ireland/other common law jurisdictions considered if willing to requalify).
- 1–3 years PQE (post-qualified experience), with at least 6 months in Banking & Finance Law.
Desirable:
- Experience working in private practice law firms/in-house legal roles.
- Transactional banking/finance experience (e.g., securitisation, leveraged finance, energy/reality structuring).
