Senior Disputes Solicitor – Disputes Digital Group (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: London Employment Type: Hybrid working policy (60/40, 3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
About the Firm
A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced senior solicitor with disputes experience to join their disputes digital group.
About the Role
As the disputes solicitor, you will join the Digital Legal Delivery team, collaborating closely with Managers, Senior Solicitors, Solicitors, Trainees, and Legal Analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct document review, analysis, and due diligence (target-based daily chargeable hours).
- Perform Quality Control, providing constructive feedback to uphold firm-wide quality standards.
- Provide high-quality support to global practice groups, assisting legal teams with complex client matters as required.
- Supervise Trainees or Legal Analysts on:
- Individual complex legal matters
- General administrative tasks under direction of Senior Solicitors, Managers, or Senior Managers of the Digital Disputes team.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant legal trends within practice areas.
- Maintain compliance with financial controls (e.g., daily time recording).

What You Need to Succeed
Essential
- Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales or Northern Ireland preferred. (Republic of Ireland or other common law jurisdictions will be considered.)
- Minimum 2+ years’ Professional Qualification Experience (PQE).
- At least **12 months’ experience in Disputes/Litigation required.
- 3+ PQE is desirable.
- Innovative mindset, with curiosity and interest in AI and emerging legal technologies.

Desirable
- Prior experience in a commercial legal environment, ideally at a private practice law firm.
- Hands-on disputes practice group skills, such as:
- Experience in large-scale document review.
- Ability to project-manage processes from instruction to completion.
