The Practice Areas

1. Legal Delivery

  • Redefines how the firm delivers legal services to clients.
  • Experts in sustainable, scalable legal processes, including:
    • Document review and volume claims management
    • Regulatory and contract due diligence
    • Risk remediation programmes
  • Collaborates across the firm to streamline workflows and enhance client operations.

2. Legal Technology

  • Applies firm-wide tech solutions (e.g., automation, custom development, eDiscovery, analytics) to:
    • Disputes and transactional matters
    • Complex data-heavy projects
  • Ensures reliable, data-driven legal operations.

3. Advisory

  • Provides cutting-edge guidance on legal operations and technology.
  • Scans the AI and emerging tech horizon to advise clients on:
    • Future-of-work strategies
    • Innovative workflows
  • Collaborates with practice groups and clients across all industries.

The Role: Solicitor – Digital Legal Delivery (London)

You’ll join our legal team, collaborating with Managers, Senior Solicitors, Solicitors, Trainees, and Legal Analysts.

Working Pattern:

  • Full-time attendance.
  • Occasional travel to her law office or to clients’ offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Billable work: Conduct document review, due diligence, and practice-specific fee-earner tasks (average ~20+ daily chargeable hours).
  • Quality control: Ensure work aligns with HSF Kramer’s quality standards, giving constructive feedback.
  • Teamwork: Work with global practice groups to support clients and internal teams.
  • Supervision: On select projects, oversee Trainees or Legal Analysts, dealing with complex legal matters as directed.
  • Knowledge updates: Maintain expertise in relevant areas of law.
  • Financial compliance: Adhere to time-records and cost controls.
  • Assistance: Offer additional support as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Must be a qualified solicitor or barrister (active in England & Wales, Northern Ireland, or Republic of Ireland—common law jurisdictions preferred).
  • At least 2+ years PQE, with 12+ months in Disputes/litigation (3+ PQE desirable).
  • Innovative mindset: Adept at AI/digital revolution challenges.

Desirable

  • Experience in a commercial legal environment, ideally a private practice firm.
  • Disputes-focused legal experience, including:
    • Large-scale document review projects.
    • Experience project managing review processes from inception to completion.

Location

London (office-based with occasional travel).

Contract

Fixed-term role.
