The Role

You’ll partner as a qualified solicitor in a multidisciplinary team of managers, senior solicitors, trainee solicitors and analysts, for one of our standout groups: Digital Disputes. Note that travel, including short treks or client trips, may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting high-volume document review, analysis, or PQE-targeted fee-earning work (expecting ~typical daily chargeable hours).
  • Ensuring Quality Control in outputs (consistent high standards of precision, clarity, and application).
  • Initiating cross-cultural collaboration with HSF Kramer’s global practice teams for seamless fulfilment of mandates.
  • Where appropriate, supervising lawyers in training or analysts for complex projects (aligned by managing partners/seniors).
  • Maintaining proactive subject mastery in areas key to the group.
  • Scaffolded compliance obligations on matters (proficient financial/time recording).
  • Overage where exceptional engagement (within due bounds) elevates client impact.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Mandatory:
    • Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales/Northern Ireland. (Republic of Ireland/Commonwealth jurisdictions will be considered*)
    • Minimum 2+ PQE (*12+ months litigation/disputes experience ideal; 3+ PQE is preferred).
    • Curiosity or proficiency in AI / emerging tech applications to law.
  • Desired:
    • Private practice experience (commercial environment preferable).
    • Direct exposure to high-volume macro-mandates (e.g., document review project end-to-end).
