Solicitor
Private Client Solicitor – Join Our Growing Team
Taylor Rose seeks a passionate, client-focused Private Client Solicitor to join their rapidly expanding legal firm—a top 60 UK practice blending traditional excellence with modern consultancy. If you thrive on delivering outstanding service in wills, trusts, probate, and estate administration and are eager to progress your career in a dynamic environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relations & Case Management
- Manage own workload efficiently, ensuring compliance with chargeable and non-chargeable hourly targets
- Handle files independently, including:
- Drafting legal correspondence
- Collating and preparing evidence
- Generating cost letters
- Respond to incoming Client enquiries
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all legal documentation
- Conduct Client meetings, capture instructions, and prepare cases
- Act on behalf of Clients while upholding their guidance

Operational & Financial Oversight
- Oversee support services, including supervision of Paralegals and Legal Secretaries
- Exercise financial control:
- Monitor cashflow (collections on account, billing)
- Process court filings pre-trial

Core Requirements
- Legal qualification (solicitor status or equivalent)
- Proficiency in case management systems
- Advanced computer literacy
- Diverse skill set: Adaptability, flexibility, and strong time management
- Specialist expertise in Private Client Law—proven knowledge
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of the team
