Role Description
Solicitor 1+ years PQE - Property Possession, Lender Litigation & Debt Recovery
Remote (except hearings) | Full-Time | Competitive Salary | Immediate Start
Location: London, Greater London – must be able to travel to Central London in approx 60 minutes for occasional hearings and trials.
We are looking for a solicitor with 1 year of post-qualifying experience to join our specialist property possession and lender litigation team.
Even if you are not quite 1 year PQE but have relevant experience in the area, please still apply.

We act for lenders and finance companies in the recovery of secured debts, including business loans, bridging finance, and loans secured by legal mortgages. Our work focuses on property possession proceedings, repossessions, evictions, and enforcement action where borrowers have fallen into arrears or default.
This is a fully remote, full-time role within a small, close-knit team providing bespoke legal services to a select number of significant lender clients.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload with the support of an administrative assistant and two paralegals, working closely alongside the Head Solicitor.
The work includes:
- CPR Part 55 possession claims
- Property possession proceedings
- Repossessions and evictions
- Recovery of business loans and bridging finance
- Enforcement of legal mortgages and security documentation
- Money judgment applications
- Interim and final charging orders
- Orders for sale
- Debt recovery and enforcement strategy
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, and court documents
- Liaising directly with clients, borrowers, solicitors, agents, and counsel
We recognise the commercial realities in which lenders operate, including the cash flow issues that can arise from prolonged arrears. The successful candidate will therefore need to be commercially aware, proactive, and able to progress matters efficiently while providing a personal and responsive service to clients.

This is a direct client-facing role with real responsibility from the outset. There will also be the opportunity to attend a wide range of hearings and trials for candidates who wish to build advocacy and court experience.
Experience using LEAP would be helpful, although training can be provided.
