We are now seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our Belfast team. The Northern Ireland Motor & Fraud team is led by Louise Trimble, Partner, winner of Insurance Lawyer of the Year at the Women in Insurance Awards, and is recognised nationally for both the quality of its work and the strength of its culture.
Responsibilities
You will join a well-established and growing team in Northern Ireland, handling a varied and stimulating caseload across a wide range of specialisms, including injury claims at both pre-litigation and litigated stages, complex injury, catastrophic loss, motor damage, credit hire, recoveries and fraud-related matters.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing a varied caseload of files from inception to resolution
- Conducting investigations, including evidence gathering and liaising with witnesses and experts
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings, witness statements and settlement documentation
- Providing clear, strategic legal advice to clients
- Representing clients in court proceedings and settlement negotiations where required
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, professional and client standards
- Collaborating with colleagues across teams and jurisdictions to deliver integrated solutions
- Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, case law and industry developments
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 1 - 6 years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience).
- Strong knowledge of Fraud and Motor insurance law, including civil procedure and litigation processes.
- Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
