Newly Qualified Solicitor – Commercial Property (Manchester)
The Role & Team
We are seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join our Manchester office. This is an exceptional opportunity to launch your career within a prestigious commercial property team, working with diverse clients including investors, developers, and asset managers.
You’ll achieve hands-on experience across a high-quality, varied caseload supported by structured development pathways, ensuring clear progression. Embed yourself alongside senior partners and experienced lawyers, gaining exposure to complex, high-value matters from the outset.

Key Responsibilities
- Caseload Management: Supporting a busy commercial property workload
- Document drafting & negotiation: Leases, licences, and property-related contracts
- Transaction handling: Assisting in acquisitions, disposals of investment properties
- Client advice: Commercial real estate matters, including landlord & tenant disputes
- Asset management: Rent reviews, renewals, and corporate regears
- Coordination: Overseeing transactions, liaising with clients, agents, and third parties
- Business development: Collaborating on client Relationship Management initiatives

About You (Requirements)
- Qualification: Newly Qualified Solicitor (or nearing qualification) with a commercial property training seat
- Legal Expertise: Strong foundation in real estate law, particularly landlord & tenant law
- Commercial Acumen: Must be proactive, client-focused, and commercially astute
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and drafting skills
- Operational Skills: Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a dynamic team
- Drive & Ambition: Passionate about career growth in investment & property management
