DWF is seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded Senior Associate to join our nationally renowned Insurance Fraud team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your legal career within a fast-paced environment, working with major insurers and household name clients on complex, high-value fraud litigation. The role is for our Birmingham team but we can be flexible on candidate location and office locations, we will also consider candidates in Manchester, office attendance is likely once per week.
Responsibilities
Take the lead on complex and high-value fraudulent claims, including motor, EL/PL, staged/contrived accidents, and organised fraud rings. Supervise junior team members and contribute to training and development. Build strong client relationships with major insurers, delivering strategic and technical advice. Play a key role in business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the Fraud practice. Engage in litigation strategy, advocacy, and trial preparation for technically challenging matters.

What will help you succeed in this role?
2+ years PQE with strong experience in insurance fraud litigation (claimant or defendant). A proven track record of running a complex caseload with minimal supervision. Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset. Commercial acumen and experience in delivering excellent client service. A proactive approach to file strategy, innovation, and cost management. What we offer?
