Senior Associate – Real Estate Finance (Bridging Finance) | Manchester | £70,000 – £100,000 Are you a senior real estate finance solicitor with a strong grounding in bridging finance? The Firm Our client is a well‑established and respected Manchester law firm with a strong reputation in real estate finance. The practice is known for its close relationships with lenders, brokers and property professionals and for delivering commercially focused advice in a fast‑paced, transaction‑led environment.

About the Role The firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to play a key role within its real estate finance practice, with a clear emphasis on bridging finance. The work is predominantly bridging lending, acting for lenders and borrowers on secured lending matters, with a smaller element of commercial property finance, including buy‑to‑let. This is a senior, outward‑facing position with a clear expectation of involvement in business development.

Key Responsibilities Advising lenders and borrowers on bridging finance transactions Drafting, negotiating and completing facility agreements and security documents Managing transactions from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision Developing and maintaining strong relationships with lenders, brokers and introducers Supporting and mentoring junior solicitors where appropriate Actively contributing to business development, marketing activity and the growth of the practice

Skills & Experience Qualified solicitor in England & Wales Operating at Senior Associate level within a law firm Strong experience in real estate finance, with particular expertise in bridging finance Confident handling high‑value, fast‑paced secured lending transactions Commercial mindset with a demonstrable interest in business development Existing client following or referrer network highly advantageous Experience billing at, or close to, three times salary
