Senior Partner – Solicitor – Real Estate Finance
Are you an established Partner, Legal Director or Senior Solicitor with expertise in secured lending, property, commercial litigation and related real estate finance matters? Do you have an existing client following, a strong billing record, and a proven track record of successfully negotiating client transitions from restrictive covenants and non-compete arrangements?
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing, commercially focused law firm that offers the autonomy, support and infrastructure to maximise your practice while playing a key role in the firm's continued expansion.
The Role
As a Senior Partner, you will be responsible for managing and growing your client portfolio, generating fee income, winning new business, and contributing to the strategic growth of the firm.
You will bring an established network of clients and contacts, together with the commercial expertise required to successfully transition and retain client relationships. The firm is seeking an entrepreneurial lawyer who can combine technical excellence with business development and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Bring and develop an established client following and book of business.
- Generate fee income in line with market expectations.
- Manage complex and high-value legal matters.
- Develop new business opportunities and referral networks.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Successfully transition and retain client relationships from previous firms where appropriate.
- Negotiate and manage exits from restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements.
- Support and mentor colleagues while fostering a collaborative culture.
- Contribute to strategic growth initiatives and the continued success of the firm.
- Work collaboratively with fellow Partners and senior leadership.
Package
- Salary up to £250k

Skills & Experience
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
- Existing Partner, Senior Partner, Legal Director or established Senior Solicitor.
- Proven client following and portable book of business.
- Strong billing history and commercial awareness.
- Demonstrable success in business development, client acquisition and revenue generation.
- Proven experience successfully negotiating restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements to facilitate the transfer of clients and ongoing work.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and networking skills.
- Leadership experience with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial and growth-focused mindset.
