Solicitor/Legal Executive - Personal Injury
Senior Personal Injury Solicitor/Paralegal (2-5 PQE)

This year, Partner Richard Teare was awarded Personal Injury Law Expert of the Year (England) at The Lawyer Network annual awards.
We are now seeking a highly motivated candidate with 2-5 years’ post-qualifying experience (PQE) (or equivalent) as a solicitor, legal executive, or personal injury legal advisor, to:
- Handle a busy caseload of mixed fast track and intermediate track EL (employment law), PL (public liability), and RTA (road traffic accident) claims
- Support multi-track cases and assist in business development
**Key Responsibilities
The role involves delivering a quality, client-focused service and includes:
- Managing allocated client work under the supervision of the Head of Department
- Ensuring efficient progress of cases and transparent client communication (including regular updates on costs)
- Meeting high standards of client care in a professional and approachable manner
- Achieving performance targets
- Maintaining confidentiality and data security for sensitive firm and client documentation
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and external partners

The successful candidate will be a strong team player, contributing to:

- Supervision and support of junior staff

Location & Flexibility
- Primary base: Lincoln office
- After a probation period (tbc), the role will offer part-time flexible working from home
Day-to-Day Activities
(Default includes, but is not limited to, the following)
- Case lead responsibility
- Case progression and client communication
- Cost management and reporting
- Taking directions from senior solicitors as required
Experience Required
Essential
- Law degree (or equivalent) or professional qualification:
- Solicitor’s qualifying exam (Bar Professional Training Course / Legal Practice Course) or
- **Legal Executive qualification (e.g., **CAPA **or GDL equivalent)
- 2–5 years PQE (or equivalent experience) as a solicitor, legal executive or personal injury advocate
- Proven experience in managing mixed-track personal injury claims (EL, PL, RTA)
- Case management software experience (advantageous)
- Excellent IT proficiency (word processing, spreadsheets, case systems)
- Strong professional image (presenting confidently to clients and partners)
- Socially confident with polished written and verbal communication
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and under pressure
