Solicitor/Senior Solicitor/Associate, Real Estate (English Qualified)
Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow

Through its sector knowledge, collaborative approach and commercial focus, the firm delivers practical solutions to complex legal challenges.
Summary of Role
To provide English real estate legal advice to commercial clients, to negotiate contracts on their behalf and to advise on all matters involved in the purchase, sale, lease and development of commercial properties.
Key Tasks
- Draft, negotiate and conclude sale/purchase contracts and transfers.
- Examine titles and report to clients.
- Draft, negotiate and complete leases.
- Act for lenders in reporting on borrower certificate of titles and dealing with completion of secured lending transactions.
- Manage your workload competently, professionally, efficiently and cost effectively to achieve client and firm objectives.
- Be pro-active in the financial control of all your own and team matters, including accurate time recording and prompt feeing.
- Contribute constructively to the work of other team members/teams in the Real Estate Division.

Qualifications and Experience
- 2 - 6 years PQE with relevant commercial real estate conveyancing experience.
- English Qualified.

- You enjoy working within a team and autonomously on your own initiative.
- You are personable and good at building and developing client relationships.
- You are confident and you have a strong belief in yourself and your own ability.
