SOLUTION ACCOUNT MANAGER - ENERGY

Solution Account Manager – Energy

Place: United Kingdom Type: Remote, full-time Level: Mid-to-Senior

As Solution Account Manager – Energy, you will drive profitable growth in the Energy vertical market across the United Kingdom & Ireland. Your role involves developing strategic account plans, cross-selling to existing customers, engaging with new prospects and channel partners, and winning projects through persuasive data and network solutions that deliver measurable value.

Key Impact Areas

  • Identifying revenue growth opportunities with existing customers through account plans and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Expanding Belden’s footprint in the Energy sector by directly engaging with new customers and channel partners.
  • Creating a detailed market landscape analysis for the Energy vertical in the UK & Ireland, highlighting areas of strategic advantage.
  • Designing and executing winning sales strategies, managing sales pipelines, and surpassing revenue targets.
  • Collaborating with Customer Innovation Centers to produce compelling, solution-driven proposals that drive demand and secure project wins.

  • Education: A degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience with a strong commercial focus.
  • Experience: Proven sales success in the Energy sector, with expertise in data and network solutions.
  • International Exposure: Experience in a medium-to-large international organisation, working in a matrix environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Mindset & Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and organisational abilities; thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (written & spoken), plus proficiency in at least one relevant language.
