- Location: Burford, Oxfordshire (hybrid working, minimum two days per week in the office. Please note that this is a mandatory requirement of the role and is not open to negotiation)

We are looking for an IS Solutions Analyst to join our Information Services Team for a dedicated, fixed-term project position. In this role, you will act as a key link between our internal teams, external partners, and core web applications, ensuring our technology effectively supports our project goals across the charity.
More about the role
In this project-focused position, you will work with our internal Digital Marketing and Rehoming teams and external developers to oversee the technology alignment and integration design for this project. Working closely with the IS Business Partner, you will:
- Understand the operational needs
- Capture clear business requirements
- Map out and align functional solutions between our back-end Microsoft Dynamics system and our website
You will be responsible for producing key project documentation, including:
- Business Requirements Documents
- Impact Analyses
- Change Controls
Beyond the analysis phase, you will:
- Coordinate integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), writing formal test plans and tracking defects to ensure system stability
- Facilitate a smooth transition to live operations by compiling technical documentation, managing user access, and delivering training materials based on the train-the-trainer principle

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based at our Burford office. It is a hybrid role and you must be able to work from Burford twice a week.
About you
We are looking for an organized, analytical thinker who combines strong technical skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You are someone who takes initiative, makes clear decisions under pressure, and stays up to date with shifting technology trends.
This role requires constant collaboration with external application developers, internal IT and data teams and stakeholders across the organisation. This means you must possess:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and motivated to apply your technical and analytical expertise to support the core values and mission of Blue Cross
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Good familiarity with Microsoft cloud services and enterprise technologies
- Application service provision and development (Dynamics, SharePoint, Power Platform, Power BI Dynamics) and integration of bespoke applications and services; experience of APIs, integration/connector tools/services, scripting tools such as PowerShell an advantage.
- Demonstrable experience working in an IT application support capacity
- Working knowledge of some or all of the following highly desirable; CRM solutions, clinical/veterinary practice management systems, financial/ERP applications
- Proven capability in requirements capture and analysis, expressed through writing clearly, concisely and professionally for liaising with end-users and compiling technical documentation and instructions.
- Managing 3rd party application development.
- Ability to demonstrate, understanding and apply our Blue Cross values
