About the Role

Aptitude Global is seeking a highly versatile, hands-on Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, resilient systems for our clients, specifically supporting our clients’ mission. This role is for a "street-smart" architect who thrives on solving real-world problems regardless of the tech stack. You will move beyond theoretical designs to deliver functional, high-performance product innovations that bridge the gap between complex architecture and practical engineering.

Why Join Us?

At Aptitude Global, we are data specialists helping businesses unlock the actual value of their information. We believe real innovation comes from taking smart risks. By joining this project, you will help smooth access to life-saving therapies by combining cutting-edge data solutions with advanced technologies like machine learning and predictive analytics.

Who Are My Customers?

Our customers are across predominantly regulated industries, including financial services, legal, pharma, and energy.

What Do I Need to Do?

  • Hands-on Leadership: Act as a force multiplier for engineering teams. You will build proofs-of-concept, debug live issues, and perform deep-dive code and design reviews.
  • Architectural Design: Design end-to-end solutions with scalability, security, and performance at the forefront.
  • Drive AI Strategy: Shape the AI approach by building solutions such as chatbots and AI-powered search in collaboration with Data Science teams.
  • Tech Stack Agnosticism: Evaluate and recommend technologies based on problem-fit and business value, not hype.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive non-functional requirements, including observability, disaster recovery, and high availability.
  • Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor, bringing clarity and pragmatic solutions to the team even under conditions of high ambiguity.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with engineering leads and product managers to define architecture roadmaps. You must be able to communicate complex technical trade-offs to stakeholders, including C-suite executives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
