About The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Solution Architect roles within enterprise technology delivery. Roles of this type could support the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-based solutions that drive business transformation across diverse industry sectors.
You could work within collaborative technical teams, partnering with clients and internal stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust architectural frameworks. The work might involve leveraging cloud platforms, modern infrastructure practices and enterprise design patterns to deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
Typical Role Overview
- Location: Manchester, Bristol, London or nationwide UK
- Type: Contract
- Full-time
- Day Rate: £250–280 per day (or up to £850 per day, dependent on experience and specialism)
- Education: Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical qualification
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent enterprise architecture credential
What You Would Do
- Designing end-to-end solution architectures aligned with client business objectives and technical constraints
- Collaborating with stakeholders across technology, operations and business functions to gather and validate requirements
- Evaluating and recommending cloud platforms, infrastructure components and integration patterns
- Documenting architectural decisions, trade-offs and implementation roadmaps for technical and non-technical audiences
- Supporting solution delivery teams through design reviews, technical governance and best-practice guidance
- Identifying opportunities to optimise performance, scalability, security and cost across deployed solutions

What You Could Bring
- Proven experience designing enterprise solutions within cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, containerisation and integration design
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification or equivalent enterprise architecture qualification
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural blueprints
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance and governance frameworks
