12-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | London - Hybrid
Solution Architect urgently needed for a major insurance customer.
We are supporting a major insurance transformation programme that is reshaping a core claims platform and require an experienced Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in defining the future-state technology landscape.
This role will require a background in Insurance Industry - only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.
Role
You'll join a large-scale Agile transformation programme focused on modernising a complex claims environment. Working closely with senior business stakeholders, Business Analysts, architects and engineering teams, you'll be responsible for turning business requirements into robust, scalable solution designs across a Microsoft-centric ecosystem.
The programme is currently evolving from a legacy platform landscape and moving towards a modern architecture leveraging Microsoft Dynamics, Azure services and Databricks. The successful architect will help shape the technical design and ensure the development teams are positioned for successful delivery.
This role demands someone who can operate comfortably at both the business and technical levels and equally capable of leading design workshops with senior stakeholders and producing high-quality architectural artefacts for engineering teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
