Solution Architect | D365 CE & Power Platform | £90,000 | Permanent

A global manufacturing organisation is embarking on a significant digital transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the evolution of its Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform estate.

This is an opportunity to shape the architecture of a business-critical CRM platform that supports commercial teams across multiple regions. Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and third-party partners, you'll define solution strategy, establish architectural standards, and ensure scalable, secure solutions are delivered in line with the wider transformation roadmap.

The role

As the Solution Architect, you'll own the end-to-end architecture for the organisation's Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform landscape, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose today while supporting future growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading solution architecture across Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Defining architecture principles, design standards and governance across the CRM platform
  • Leading solution design workshops and providing architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensuring seamless integration between Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure and wider enterprise systems
  • Providing technical leadership to internal delivery teams and third-party implementation partners
  • Reviewing solution designs to ensure security, scalability and alignment with Microsoft best practice
  • Supporting the wider digital transformation by identifying opportunities to improve processes and platform capability

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions
  • Strong expertise across Dynamics 365 CE and the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale CRM solutions, integrations and solution architecture
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate and broader Microsoft cloud technologies
  • Experience leading architecture workshops and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to balance business requirements with technical best practice and long-term platform strategy
  • Experience working within complex transformation programmes or enterprise environments
  • Microsoft certifications would be advantageous but aren't essential
