Solution Architect (Finance & HR)
Woking based with Hybrid working model.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Solution Architect (Finance & HR) to join Nomad Foods, working within our Enterprise Architecture function. In this role, you will lead the design of SAP solutions across Finance and HR domains, supporting key transformation initiatives including SAP S/4HANA Finance and SuccessFactors. You will work closely with Finance, People teams and Technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and compliant solutions that align with business strategy and enterprise architecture standards. This is a highly visible role where you will translate complex business requirements into robust SAP architectures, influencing decision‑making and delivering measurable business value across a global organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and governance of SAP solutions across Finance (S/4HANA) and HR (SuccessFactors) domains
- Translate business requirements (e.g. Record‑to‑Report, Procure‑to‑Pay, Hire‑to‑Retire) into scalable, fit‑for‑purpose SAP solution designs
- Define solution architectures aligned to enterprise standards, data principles, security and compliance requirements
- Provide architectural leadership across major transformation programmes, including finance modernisation and HR system evolution
- Partner with business and delivery teams to define solution options, trade‑offs and implementation approaches
- Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, scalable and aligned to long‑term architecture roadmaps
- Lead governance through architecture forums, design reviews and approval processes
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies and impacts across SAP and non‑SAP systems (e.g. payroll, tax, banking, data platforms)
- Shape and assure data, integration and API design across Finance and HR ecosystems
- Work closely with vendors and partners (e.g. SAP, system integrators, payroll providers, Microsoft) to ensure aligned delivery
- Develop and maintain architecture artefacts, documentation and reusable design patterns
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, clearly communicating solution design decisions, trade‑offs and value

About you
We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong SAP expertise across Finance and HR domains and the ability to operate in a complex, global organisation. You will bring strong credibility and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, simplify complexity and translate business needs into clear, practical solutions.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect across enterprise SAP environments
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and/or SAP SuccessFactors
- Experience across multiple technology domains (applications, integrations, data, cloud, infrastructure, security)
- Proven track record delivering complex transformation programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across business and technology teams
- Experience working with third‑party vendors and system integrators
- Ability to design solutions that balance innovation, simplification, cost and compliance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly
