Solution Architect
Senior Solution Architect – Insurance Smart Applications & AI
At DXC, we’re empowering leading insurers to modernise their platforms, harness data-driven insights, and drive innovation through Smart Applications and AI-enabled solutions.
We’re seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a deep expertise in insurance software to join our pre-sales and solutioning team. This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you’ll design end-to-end solutions that deliver measurable business value, support revenue growth, and shape DXC’s insurance portfolio.
You’ll bridge the gap between business strategy, technology, and sales, collaborating closely with account teams, clients, product, and delivery to create scalable, commercial, and transformative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Solution Design & Client Engagement
- Lead the design of Smart App and AI-enabled insurance solutions, ensuring alignment with customer outcomes.
- Partner with pre-sales, client delivery, and product teams to shape differentiated, revenue-driving propositions.
- Engage directly with clients to:
- Facilitate discovery workshops to map business challenges, operating models, data needs, and success metrics.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable, secure architectures covering:
- APIs, integrations, workflows, data, and AI/ML capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to commercial viability, security, compliance, and responsible AI standards.
Solution Estimation & Delivery –
- Develop compelling solution narratives, proposals, architecture artefacts, and implementation roadmaps for client pursuits.
- Provide deep domain expertise on insurance processes, including:
- Policy administration, claims, underwriting, broking, and reinsurance.
- Design modernisation strategies that balance:
- Innovation with reuse of existing investments.
- Reusable patterns and configuration-first approaches for consistency.
- Serve as a trusted business advisor to senior stakeholders, simplifying complex technical concepts in business terms.
- Factors client insights into product and solution development, ensuring DXC remains a leader in insurance innovation.

Core Requirements
We’re looking for a seasoned Solution Architect with:
- Proven experience in solution architecture, pre-sales, or client-facing technical roles in insurance software/platforms.
- Deep domain knowledge of insurance processes (e.g., P&C, life & annuities) and technology landscapes.
- Hands-on experience designing enterprise solutions covering:
- SaaS, cloud, data integration, workflows, and AI/ML architectures.
- APIs, smart app development, orchestration tools, and emerging AI capabilities.
- Commercial acumen to:
- Translate technical design into business value and strategic outcomes.
- Influence deals’ commercial success proactively.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to engage effectively with:
- Technical teams (e.g., developers, data scientists).
- Business leaders, including C-level executives, in a solution-focused manner.
- A collaborative mindset able to balance innovation, scalability, and practical delivery.
Desirable но Nice-to-Have
- Experience with AI-enabled solutions, Smart Apps, or workspace technologies in insurance.
- Knowledge of responsible AI, ethical decision-making frameworks, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, financial services regulations).
- Relevant certifications in architecture (e.g., TOGAF), cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure), data, or AI.
- Ability to work across global teams and lead engagements spanning multiple regions/deployments.
