Solution Architect - RPA (12‑month Fixed Term Contract)

Westcon Comstor is a leading global IT distributor, partnering with some of the world's most innovative technology vendors. We are now recruiting a Solution Architect to join our team on a 12‑month fixed term contract, with a dedicated focus on UiPath, the global leader in Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
This is a partner‑facing, pre‑sales role, ideal for an experienced Solution Architect who enjoys evangelising new technologies, shaping solutions, and working closely with the channel.
The role
As a Solution Architect, you will act as a trusted advisor to our partners, designing and articulating UiPath‑based solutions that deliver clear business value. You'll combine hands‑on technical expertise with strong communication skills, supporting partners through architecture design, workshops, demonstrations, and pre‑sales engagement. You'll play a key role in promoting UiPath within the UK partner ecosystem, helping partners understand how RPA can be adopted to drive automation, efficiency, and transformation.
Key responsibilities (condensed) Design, validate and articulate UiPath‑centred solutions that meet customer and partner requirements Support pre‑sales activity including requirements gathering, solution design, demos and proof‑of‑concepts Evangelise UiPath technologies to partners through workshops, technical sessions and events Work closely with sales, vendor and internal teams to support opportunities and pipeline growth Ensure solutions align with vendor standards, governance and commercial best practice Maintain strong relationships with UiPath and partner technical stakeholders What we're looking for Proven experience in solution architecture or pre‑sales within the technology sector A solid understanding of RPA - what it is, how it's used, and its value in the market Technical skills and the ability to translate complex solutions into clear business outcomes Experience working with, or a strong understanding of, the IT distribution / partner channel Confident communicator with strong stakeholder‑facing skills Why join Westcon Comstor?
