Solution Architect (Workday) – Finance Migration (legacy to Workday Financial Management) – OUTSIDE IR35

6 months rolling | £550 Outside IR35 | 2 days per month onsite (Fareham) & remote

We’re supporting a major retailer’s Finance Transformation Programme and are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the migration from a legacy finance platform to Workday Financials. This is a pivotal role shaping the end-to-end architecture, integration strategy, data migration approach, and transition roadmap for a business-critical change.

If you’ve delivered complex finance system migrations and know how to bring structure, clarity, and governance to a multi-vendor Workday implementation, this will suit you perfectly.

The Opportunity:

You’ll be the architectural lead for the migration of a legacy finance system into Workday, ensuring the solution is coherent, compliant, and aligned to enterprise standards. You’ll work closely with Finance, Technology, SI partners, and Workday specialists to define the target architecture, integration patterns, data flows, and cutover approach.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
