About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to make a significant impact in a smaller, agile team environment while rapidly progressing their career.

As a Solution Consultant at TechWolf, you will be the technical expert and trusted advisor throughout sales cycles. This role blends business acumen and deep technical expertise.

You’ll work closely with the sales team to:

  • Uncover prospective client pain points and strategic objectives.
  • Translate these insights into effective solutions.
  • Demonstrate TechWolf’s capabilities, advantages, and differentiators.
  • Craft tailored solutions that optimise the value of TechWolf’s AI-powered skills and work technology.
  • Define project scopes and timelines.

As a data layer and API-first technology in the HR technology space, the ideal candidate will:

  • Have expertise in technical topics like data, integrations, and architecture.
  • Understand the business challenges TechWolf solves.
  • Bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business impact.
  • Clearly articulate this connection—essential for the role.

Internally, Solution Consultants operate at the intersection of Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Professional Services.

  • Conduct thorough technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals and challenges.

    • Translate these insights into tailored TechWolf solutions.
  • Take a lead role in managing customer RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and RFIs (Requests for Information).

    • Ensure TechWolf’s capabilities are clearly communicated and aligned with client needs.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships.

    • Act as a strategic partner to help clients maximise value from TechWolf’s technology.
  • Collaborate with the Product team:

    • Align customer requirements, market trends, and the product roadmap.
    • Ensure solutions meet evolving industry needs.
  • Craft and deliver customised propositions and Statements of Work (SoWs) to enable successful customer engagements.

  • Work cross-functionally with Professional Services and Customer Success:

    • Ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales.
    • Drive long-term customer value.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of TechWolf’s pre-sales process:

    • Bring fresh ideas and best practices to streamline our approach.

Requirements

Essential:

  • 3+ years of professional experience, with a proven track record in:

    • Pre-sales and/or implementation of SaaS technologies.
    • Preferred domains: skills/HR tech domain, data products landscape, or AI space.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and can:

    • Adapt quickly, think on your feet, and embrace change.
    • Comfortably discuss technical topics like:
      • Solution architecture.
      • Integrations.
      • Data flows.
      • Privacy and security.
  • Passionate about personal and company growth with an understanding of:

    • Building a successful business.
    • Helping customers achieve their goals.

  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills to:

    • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Expertise in discovery and objection handling:

    • Use open-ended questioning to understand prospects’ business challenges.
    • Align technical solutions with specific prospect needs.
  • Experience working at a SaaS enterprise startup or scale-up.

    • Keen awareness of challenges and opportunities in such environments.
  • Proactive, organized, analytical, with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Naturall communicator and team player with relationship-building intuition.

Preferred:

  • Experience with HR or skills technology.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with AI-first ways of working.
