Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer

We're hiring a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to act as the technical and security expert throughout the sales cycle. You'll work directly with prospects, customers, and internal teams—product, engineering, and support—to translate product capabilities into solutions that meet customer needs, while helping drive secure, scalable outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Pre-Sales Engagements: Serve as the technical and security expert in business development and sales meetings with prospects, customers, and partners. Lead discussions around the technical aspects of the product capabilities and deliver solutions aligned with customer needs. This includes a willingness to travel to prospect and client engagements, both domestically and internationally.
  • Technical Analysis & Documentation: Evaluate customer Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and due diligence documentation. Provide comprehensive technical documentation, business use cases, and technical analysis to support the sales team.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with internal stakeholders such as product, engineering, R&D, DevOps, and support teams to resolve technical challenges and deliver optimal solutions to customers.
  • Act as an SME for API Integration: Provide subject-matter expertise on API system integrations, address technical aspects, and help customers navigate complex IT systems.
  • Lead Security sessions: Complete security questionnaires to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Lead Technical Presentations: Deliver clear and concise technical presentations, demonstrating the value of our products and ensuring the technology landscape is properly represented in sales engagements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
