Solution Sales Manager – Warehouse Solutions (Prologis Essentials Operations)

Prologis Essentials Operations delivers seamless, one-stop warehouse solutions for clients needing new setups, optimisations or relocations. Your role: securing high-value deals (£200K–£10M) by advising customers on integrated warehouses systems — from racking to energy, material handling, and office fit-outs.
About the Role
Reporting to: Head of Essentials Solutions UK
Operating within Prologis Essentials – a turnkey logistics solution platform — you’ll act as the first point of contact, pioneering relationships with existing and new customers while collaborating with Solution Design and Project Management teams. Concentrate on driving revenue growth through a consultative, high-touch sales approach.

- **Customer-facing **: Act as the trusted point of advice for warehousing transformation. Own the full sales cycle—lead identification, needs analysis, proposal, negotiation and deal closing.
- Relationship management: Strengthen bonds with customers, identifying cross-sale opportunities (new site enablement, additional services) whilst exploring new customer acquisitions.
- Strategic commercial execution: Align with Associate Solutions Managers and your manager for regional strategy to exceed targets.
- Collaboration :
- Work with Leasing (for portfolio insights) and Solution Design (for optimizations).
- Engage external stakeholders (brokers, vendors) to increased Essentials visibility.
- Use Salesforce CRM to monitor the pipeline effectively.
- Market positioning: Leverage awareness of industry trends, vendor innovations and customer challenges to t tailor― sophisticated solutions.
- Proactive execution : Champion problem-solving projects (e.g. move-out/scale-up operations).
Requirements
Essential
- Bare 5+ years' excelling in B2B sales with proven ability to sell complex solutions of scale.
- Strong industry knowledge of intralogistics, supply chains, material handling, or warehouse design.
- Track record of consultative selling with a focus on customer outcomes and solution-based deal closure.
- Technical curiosity around business-critical warehouse elements such as:
- Material flow
- Storage and racking systems
- Infrastructure, energy, and lighting
- Focus on commercial solutions, not engineering — you’ll have specialists to back you up!
- Proven ability to:
- Build trust with multi-layered stakeholders.
- Present and negotiate across high-value deals.
- Strong analytical & CRM skills (e.g. Salesforce).
- Fluency in English (British spelling).
- UK mobility extended by frequent travel.
