About the Role

Prologis Essentials Operations is the dedicated business line for turnkey warehouse setups and optimization projects across Europe.

In this customer-facing, commercially driven role as Solution Sales Manager (Warehouse Solutions), you’ll:

  • Be the first point of contact for customers requiring warehouse solutions (from £200K to £10M in value).
  • Support essentials solutions (e.g., racking, energy systems, material handling, office fit-outs) for customers moving in or out of industrial spaces.
  • Work closely with internal project teams (Solution Design & Project Management) and external partners to deliver seamless solutions.

This role is based in the fast-growing UK market for Essentials Solutions, and we’re strengthening our team with another Solution Sales Manager.

Customer Solutions & Relationships

  • Act as a turnkey partner for customers transitioning into or out of Prologis or third-party warehouses (offering optimized logistics solutions).
  • Lead the full sales cycle: Prospecting, needs assessments, proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Deliver high-value customer discussions—combining operational insights with solution-driven storytelling.
  • Drive expansion opportunities with existing customers, whether by introducing new Essentials services or scaling solutions into additional properties.

Stakeholder & Market Engagement

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, vendor innovations, and customer challenges to refine sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Leasing, Solutions Design, Project Management) to ensure pickups and handovers run smoothly.
  • Engage with local brokers and other market stakeholders to increase visibility and generate leads.

Performance & CRM Management

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets within your assigned UK region.
  • Maintain a clean, data-driven pipeline in Salesforce CRM for accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Align with team strategy and priorities, ensuring consistency across the Essentials Solutions team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B (business-to-business) sales, preferably in:

    • Intralogistics
    • Supply chain solutions
    • Material handling systems
    • Industrial warehouse infrastructure
  • Proven consultative sales track record:

    • Managed full-cycle sales (lead-to-close)
    • Specialized in solution-based selling (problem discovery → tailored proposals)
    • Collaborated with cross-functional teams for seamless execution

  • Travel requirements:

    • Willingness to travel across the UK as needed
  • Essential prerequisites:

    • Fluency in English
