About the Role
The Solution Architect will play an integral role in defining, delivering and supporting solutions for RDG’s delivery programmes, products and services. They will be responsible for ensuring that the solution architecture meets the business requirements, leverages RDG’s cloud platform and shared technology services, aligns with RDG Architecture Principles and Policies and comply with any agreed Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience in some of the following areas:
- Software procurement, design, development and integration, e.g. front and/or back-end development and complex systems/data integration involving several internal/external applications, shared technology platforms etc.
- Cloud platforms and data services, e.g. Amazon Web Service, AWS Redshift, Tableau
- Platform and infrastructure services, e.g.
- API gateway and management, e.g. AWS API Gateway
- Message queue and broker, e.g. Kafka, ActiveMQ
- Identity and Access Management (IAM), e.g. Microsoft Entra ID
