About The Opportunity

Locations: Manchester, Bristol, London or nationwide flexibility
Type: Contract
Full-time
Day Rate: £250–£850 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications
Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science; AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification
Domain: Enterprise solutions architecture, cloud technologies
What You Would Do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Designing enterprise solutions that align with client business objectives and technical requirements
- Translating complex business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical architectures
- Collaborating with delivery teams, engineers, and stakeholders to guide solution implementation
- Evaluating and recommending technology choices and architectural patterns
- Ensuring solutions comply with enterprise standards, security protocols, and best practices
- Mentoring and supporting delivery teams throughout the solution lifecycle
- Engaging with clients to understand evolving requirements and refine architectural approaches

What You Could Bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience in solutions architecture
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification (or demonstrable equivalent expertise)
- Experience designing enterprise solutions across cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of scalability, security, compliance, and cost optimisation
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working within collaborative, delivery-focused teams
