Role: Solution Architect Location: City of London Salary: £130,000 Flexible working: 2/3 days a week in the office

My client is looking for a Solutions Architect to join their innovative and fast-growing technology team building AI-driven products and intelligent automation solutions. This is a hands-on Solution Architect role where the right candidate will lead from the front, own technical delivery, and work closely with engineering teams to build scalable, high-impact solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of product features and AI-driven solutions while taking ownership from concept through to implementation.
  • Work closely with development teams, mentoring engineers and remaining actively involved in coding and technical problem-solving.
  • Drive sprint delivery and collaborate across multiple products and workstreams within a highly agile environment.
  • Contribute to the adoption of AI across the software development lifecycle, supporting automation, testing, and modern engineering practices.

Experience

  • Strong experience as a hands-on Solution Architect with a technical background and willingness to stay close to development activities.
  • Proven experience with Camunda is essential, alongside strong cloud and modern application architecture experience.
  • Experience working with AI-enabled development practices, agentic workflows, or automation tools within the SDLC.
  • Experience working in financial services would be advantageous.
