Shape the Future of an Iconic British Brand

Want to build an Architecture function rather than inherit one?

We're partnering with an iconic British brand to appoint a newly created Architect role that will play a key part in shaping the organisation's long-term technology strategy.

This is a rare opportunity to join a globally recognised business and define how technology supports future growth, transformation and innovation.

You'll have the freedom to establish architecture governance, create technology roadmaps, influence major investment decisions and help move the business towards a more joined-up, enterprise-wide approach to technology.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Build something from the ground up This isn't about maintaining an existing architecture function. You'll help create it.
  • Have genuine influence Work closely with senior business and technology leaders, helping shape strategic decisions across the organisation.
  • Think beyond individual projects Take a holistic view across retail, ecommerce, supply chain, corporate systems and data, defining the future technology landscape.
  • Join an iconic British success story Be part of a well-known and respected brand investing heavily in its future.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You

You could be an Enterprise Architect who doesn't mind rolling up your sleeves and getting 'hands-on', or a Senior Solution Architect looking for an opportunity with broader scope and greater influence.

What's most important is the ability to see the bigger picture, engage senior stakeholders and balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.

The Bottom Line

Opportunities to combine the prestige of a household-name British brand with the chance to build and shape Enterprise Architecture from the ground up are rare.
