Solution Architect – D365 / Power Platform
Central Government | GDS-Aligned Case Management
Build £500–£600 per day | 12-Month Contract | Fully Remote
I’m supporting a central government programme delivering a major case management service built on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, and we’re looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to lead the technical design across the D365/Power Platform estate.
You’ll own end-to-end architecture for a caseworker application built on D365 CE, and its integration with a citizen-facing digital service aligned to GDS standards.

What you’ll be driving
- Full ownership of the target architecture, technical roadmap and ADRs across current and future service lines.
- Acting as design authority - guiding out-of-the-box vs custom build decisions (PCF controls, plugins, custom pages, Power Automate).
- Representing the programme at departmental design and assurance boards, and steering designs through GDS service assessments.
- Leading integration architecture across internal and external systems.
- Setting and enforcing ALM and environment strategy (Azure DevOps, PAC CLI, managed solution deployment).

What we’re looking for
- Proven delivery experience across Dynamics 365 / Power Platform, ideally within UK central government.
- Strong familiarity with GDS service standards and assessments.
- Someone comfortable being the hands-on design authority in a complex, multi-service environment.
