The Opportunity
An exciting role as a Solutions Architect has become available within our growing IT Team, spanning our Bristol or Exeter office.
You’ll lead the design, development, integration, and optimisation of the firm’s key practice management and business systems, with a special focus on Aderant and Intapp. As our tech champion, you’ll enhance efficiency, data quality, and user experience through innovative application enhancements, automation, and integrations.
You’ll leverage Microsoft 365, Azure, and AI where applicable to automate processes and deliver impactful change. Guiding the business to extract maximum value from internal and third-party applications, you’ll identify inefficiencies and improve practice workflows for Fee Earners while empowering the back-office team.
Key Responsibilities
Automation & Microsoft Technologies
✔ Develop automation using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure services ✔ Build bespoke solutions with C#, SQL, JavaScript, Python, and related technologies ✔ Support reporting, data warehousing, and analytics requirements
Artificial Intelligence & Innovation
✔ Apply AI/LLM expertise to optimise business processes ✔ Deliver AI-enabled solutions within governance and compliance guidelines ✔ Identify high-impact automation/technologies for measurable business value

Practice Management & Application Development
✔ Design, develop, and enhance Aderant and Intapp-driven solutions aligned with business needs ✔ Build, refine, and maintain integrations with critical systems and third-party platforms ✔ Audit existing configurations and custom frameworks, recommending improvements ✔ Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and meticulously documented
Collaboration & Delivery
✔ Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and stakeholders ✔ Lead technical execution across the solution lifecycle with clear, accessible communication for non-technical users

Essential Requirements
✔ Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365/Power Platform/Azure ✔ Strong AI understanding and scalable implementation expertise ✔ Extensive experience in enterprise app development, preferably with Aderant/Intapp ✔ Proven success in delivering elegant integrations, automation, and bespoke solutions ✔ Self-starting yet collaborative team player—consistently bringing fresh perspectives ✔ Strength in communication (articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences)
