Programme Lead – End-to-End Solutions Architect

Location: Nottingham (2 days per week onsite)

Contract: 6 months initial

IR35: Inside IR35

Overview

We're looking for an experienced Programme Lead – End-to-End Architect to lead the architecture function across a large-scale enterprise transformation programme. This role will provide strategic direction across multiple architecture teams, ensuring alignment between platform, functional and integration design while driving rapid delivery against programme milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the End-to-End Architecture team, including enterprise, platform and solution architects across multiple technology domains.
  • Drive key platform and functional architecture decisions to unblock high-level solution design and delivery.
  • Ensure solution designs provide complete end-to-end coverage across Salesforce, internal enterprise platforms and third-party applications.
  • Own and maintain the overall Solution Blueprint, platform-level non-functional requirements (NFRs) and Integration Catalogue.
  • Prioritise architectural activity to support programme delivery milestones and critical design decisions.
  • Establish and lead programme architecture governance, ensuring efficient and pragmatic approval of High-Level Designs (HLDs).
  • Provide architectural leadership across multiple workstreams, ensuring consistency, scalability and alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Contribute to overall programme strategy, planning and technical direction.
  • Work closely with engineering, delivery, business and vendor teams to ensure successful programme execution.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience leading end-to-end solution architecture across large-scale enterprise transformation programmes, ideally £7m+ in value.
  • Hands-on Solution Architecture background (rather than Architecture Consulting), with ownership of solution design and delivery.
  • Experience leading architecture teams across multiple technology platforms and workstreams.
  • Strong background in enterprise integrations, solution blueprints and non-functional architecture (NFRs).
  • Experience establishing and governing architecture through High-Level Design (HLD) reviews and architecture boards.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce within a wider enterprise application landscape is highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to drive technical decisions across engineering, product and business teams.
  • Experience working in Agile enterprise delivery environments.
