Position: Solution Architect

Location: London
Hybrid role: Weekly 3 days at Office

Role Summary

Telecom Solution Designer (Onsite / Customer-Facing)

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Solution Designer to work closely with customer business and IT stakeholders to define solution requirements, design end-to-end telecom solutions, and support the successful delivery of transformation initiatives across OSS/BSS, network operations, and enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customer stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable solution designs.
  • Facilitate requirement gathering workshops and business process discussions.
  • Design end-to-end telecom solutions spanning customer, service, network, and operational domains.
  • Prepare functional specifications, solution designs, interface definitions, process flows, and data mappings.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, product owners, and delivery teams to ensure solution alignment.
  • Define system integration approaches across OSS, BSS, enterprise applications, and external partner systems.
  • Support estimation, solution planning, risk assessment, and implementation strategy.
  • Present solution proposals, manage design reviews, and obtain customer approvals.
  • Support SIT, UAT, deployment planning, and production readiness.
  • Provide regular status updates and technical guidance to customer stakeholders.

  • 10–18 years of Telecom domain experience.
  • Strong understanding of telecom business processes, including customer management, order management, service fulfillment, assurance, billing, inventory, provisioning, and field operations.
  • Experience designing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, messaging, and middleware technologies.
  • Familiarity with TM Forum standards (eTOM, SID, Open APIs).
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience delivering Agile-based telecom transformation programs.

Preferred

  • Experience with OSS/BSS platforms, CRM, ITSM, Service Assurance, Inventory, and Workflow platforms.
  • Exposure to cloud-native and API-driven architectures.
