AWS Solutions Architect (Financial Services)

AWS is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to advise our Financial Services customers on how to best adopt and leverage the value of AWS technology. This is an ideal role for someone with some experience in the Financial Services and Information (FSI) sector, looking to learn, grow in financial services applications and infrastructure, and bring a solid understanding of the transformational value cloud technologies can provide.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the AWS Financial Services team, successful candidates will:

  • Execute our go-to-market strategy in collaboration with customers.
  • Develop technical solutions and value propositions that align with AWS cloud technology.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them design, implement, and scale solutions leveraging AWS’s capabilities.
  • Engage with customers to understand their requirements and convene workshops, proof-of-concepts, and technical discussions.
  • Contribute to Technical Account Management (TAM) and solution architecture delivery teams.

About the Team

AWS values a diverse range of experiences. We encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply—whether you’re early in your career, have followed a non-traditional trajectory, or have gained experience through alternative routes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
