🏢 The Role:
To act as a senior-level technical authority for networking technologies, providing expert guidance and support across both pre-sales and post-sales engagements. Collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to design, recommend, implement, and troubleshoot networking solutions that meet business and technical requirements. Support the sales process by delivering technical consultations, solution demonstrations, and proposal input, while ensuring successful deployment, optimisation, and ongoing support of customer environments. Serve as a trusted advisor to both colleagues and customers, sharing technical expertise, mentoring team members, and helping to drive high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
- Liaise with customers to help define their requirements and offer solutions from the company’s portfolio of products
- Engage in customer pre-sales activities to include presentation and whiteboard sessions as well as providing written work such as RFI responses and Statement of Works
- Design robust solutions for customers encompassing a wide range of networking technologies and services
- Lead high-impact presentations, workshops, technical briefings, whiteboard sessions, and demonstrations for strategic prospects and existing accounts in isolation and alongside representatives from our vendors
- Deliver consultancy services for customers, understand their requirements and design solutions that deliver value into their environment
- Produce Bill of Materials for sales that can be converted into customer quotes
- Liaise with customers to help define their requirements and offer solutions from the company’s portfolio of products
- Complete customer presentations and workshops as required
- Create standard project documentation such as HLD, LLD to allow post sales engineers to deliver projects to our customers
- Manage Helpdesk tickets generated by sales staff in a timely manner
- Become Kubus’ advocate of Networking products and services
- Provide input to marketing team on website content & marketing collateral
- Evaluate new vendors, products and services
- Oversee market and present new solutions to the CTO for possible inclusion in the Kubus portfolio
- Onboard new technologies and create documentation such as battle cards and sales training
- Maintain all current and future industry and vendor certifications and ensure they remain active
- Complete vendor led and self-study learning to complete certifications as required by the business
- Identify potential training courses that will be of benefit to the individual and the business
- Attend customer site to deliver solutions and services
- Ownership of assigned customer projects
- Define project scope for customer engagements
- Act as single point of technical contact for service provider related projects
- Define workflows and manage on site delivery utilising post sales engineers
- Produce high quality customer documentation

🎯 What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Qualifications
- Understanding of vendor technologies from HPE, Dell, Pure, Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Nokia and others.
- Proven success in delivering Pre-Sales to prospect customers and designing solutions or services that meet requirements and deliver on expectations
- Understanding of orchestration and management platforms such as Juniper Apstra
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with peers throughout the business and with customer contacts
- Strong communication skills, a ‘can-do’ attitude and a self-starting ethos
- A desire to win, meet and exceed targets, and a personality that will inspire trusted long-term relationships with colleagues and Customers alike
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/issues/projects concurrently and adjust as priorities change
- Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative
- Proven experience in working efficiently and meeting tight deadlines
- Organised and meticulous, with a high level of attention to detail
- Positive contributions to the organisation beyond the scope of normal responsibilities
- Understanding of vendor technologies from HPE, Dell, Pure, Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Nokia and others.
- Experience in delivering and designing solutions based on HPE (inc. Juniper) or alternative vendor portfolio
- Proven success in delivering Pre-Sales to prospect customers and designing solutions or services that meet requirements and deliver on expectations
- Knowledge of hyperscale and AI delivery networks including design, deployment and management using single or multiple vendors
- Experience within a service provider, distributor or reseller
- Certification to HPE ASE in networking
- Master ASE preferred but not mandatory
- Preferred Certification to Juniper JNCIS, JNCIP or JNCIE level or an equivalent from an alternative vendor (Aruba, Cisco, etc)
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with peers throughout the business and with customer contacts
- Understanding of orchestration and management platforms such as Juniper Apstra, Juniper Mist or Cisco ACI
- Hands on experience with CLI and/or orchestration platforms to configure Juniper, Cisco, Nokia or Arista devices
