Salesforce Solution Architect
Location: London (Hybrid) Salary: Up to £120,000 DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to join a leading consultancy business delivering complex digital transformation programmes for a diverse client base.
This organisation specialises in helping clients unlock greater value from their technology investments, combining deep Salesforce expertise with innovative Data and AI capabilities. With continued growth and a strong pipeline of new engagements, they are looking for architects who enjoy solving complex business challenges, leading high-performing teams, and delivering impactful Salesforce solutions at scale.
This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-level programmes, collaborate with highly skilled consultants, and play a key role in shaping solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.
The Opportunity
As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will take ownership of solution design across large-scale Salesforce programmes, providing leadership throughout the project lifecycle and ensuring delivery excellence across multiple workstreams.
You'll work closely with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams, helping organisations maximise the value of their Salesforce investment while leveraging emerging technologies and AI-enabled approaches where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery teams across large, complex, multi-cloud Salesforce implementations
- Ensure ownership of end-to-end solution architecture throughout the project lifecycle
- Define high-level solution designs and provide architectural direction to delivery teams
- Ensure solutions are delivered in line with best practices and quality standards
- Support and mentor consultants and more junior team members across project deliveries
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, capability development, and innovation initiatives
- Participate in professional development activities, demonstrations, and best-practice discussions
- Utilise AI-enabled tools and approaches to enhance delivery and solution design while maintaining quality standards
- Work on a variety of engagements, including large enterprise-scale programmes

What We're Looking For
Salesforce Architecture Expertise
- A proven track record acting as the lead Solution Architect on complex Salesforce implementations and comfortable operating across multiple clouds and workstreams.
- Experience should include:
- Acting as the primary Salesforce Solution Architect across multiple large-scale, multi-cloud implementations
- Strong knowledge of:
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- Exposure to one or more of:
- Revenue Cloud
- Marketing Cloud Advanced
- CRM Analytics (CRMA)
- Industry Clouds such as Health Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, or Education Cloud
- Understanding of Agentforce and the design of agentic experiences
- Extensive experience across the Salesforce platform, including:
- Security and permissions
- Lightning App Builder
- Flow
- Experience Builder
- Experience delivering complex data migration activities
- Knowledge of third-party Salesforce applications such as document generation, e-signature, CTI, and industry-focused solutions
- Certified Application Architect certification, or working towards achieving it
Solution Design & Architecture
- Bring strong design and documentation skills, including:
- Process mapping and data modelling expertise
- Production of high-quality architectural documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
- Creation and maintenance of:
- System landscapes
- Entity relationship diagrams (ERDs)
- Security architecture documentation
- Ownership of the overall solution architecture while supporting and reviewing the work of project team members
- Participation in integration design discussions and evaluation of Salesforce integration approaches
- Designing solutions that support both internal and external users

Discovery & Requirements Gathering
- Building proof-of-concepts (POCs) to demonstrate innovative approaches and potential solutions
- Supporting business problem analysis and solution definition
- Reviewing business process maps and identifying opportunities for optimisation
Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery
- Planning and facilitating requirements and discovery workshops
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels
- Providing architectural leadership throughout the full project lifecycle
- Supporting successful testing outcomes, including QA and UAT phases
- Coaching team members and ensuring governance and quality controls are consistently followed
DevOps & Release Management
- Hands-on experience with metadata deployments
- Experience using Gearset and GitHub for release automation, deployment management, and version control
