Solutions Architect
Lua – Sales & Solutions Engineer (Technical AI Co-Pilot)
About Lua
Lua is the Agent OS. We build digital employees—agents that perform end-to-end real work:
- Read a company’s systems
- Make autonomous decisions
- Execute actions
- Improve incrementally from each run
Unlike chatbots that answer questions, our agents do the work—on clients’ own data and workflows, with full ownership and control. Teams code logic in Lua (agents, skills, tools, jobs, webhooks, guardrails) while we handle the heavy lifting:
- Infrastructure
- Multi-provider orchestration
- Data control
- Channels (WhatsApp, Slack, Email, Instagram, voice-capable widget, API)
- Monitoring
Our clients are market operators—from heritage-site operators to global retail and banks—across Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. Together, they employ 64,000+ people and generate $5bn+ in revenue annually, seeking to transition to AI-native workflows without legacy disruption.
Backed by Y Combinator and $5.8M in funding, Lua is approximately to build a playbook, not follow an existing one.
Responsibilities
Discover & Scope
- Lead technical discovery with operators to uncover high-value automation opportunities—mapping current workflows and quantifying pain points via metrics tracked by prospects.
- Define scope rigorously: clarity on in-scope vs out-of-scope workflows, dependent system integrations (ERP, payments, claims platforms), and technical guardrails.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
