We're working with an innovative UK technology company delivering secure networking and communications solutions to customers operating within highly regulated environments.
As the business continues to grow, they're looking to appoint a customer-facing Solutions Architect who can bridge the gap between commercial engagement and technical delivery.
This is a varied role that combines technical pre-sales, solution design, and customer consultancy. Working alongside Business Development and Engineering teams, you'll engage with customers from the earliest stages of the sales process, helping to understand complex technical challenges and shape practical, deliverable solutions.
You'll play a key role in the company's continued transition from a product-led organisation to a solutions-led business, adding value through technical expertise, trusted advice, and innovative thinking.
What You'll Do
- Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and operational challenges.
- Support Business Development throughout the pre-sales process by providing technical expertise.
- Design secure networking and communications solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and product demonstrations.
- Translate customer requirements into practical, deliverable solution architectures.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and implementation considerations early in the sales cycle.
- Support the production of technical proposals, bids, and tender responses.
- Act as the technical link between customers, commercial teams, and engineering.
- Provide technical guidance throughout both pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry developments to help shape future solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
